My current experiment is making raw flax crackers with dates instead of agave. The mix turned out frothy and thicker than I expected, but the mix still spread and scored well. I think they might just turn out OK.

With just four wholesome ingredients, these raw date coconut macaroons are gorgeous balls of pure bliss. Just coconut, dates, vanilla beans and a pinch of salt, which makes them gluten-free, nut-free, vegan and paleo. So simple, so easy, so quick, so tasty! Just. Too. Delicious.
I love it when I discover things by accident, especially when they're as delicious as this raw hot chocolate. It's so creamy and warm and tasty and sweet and chocolatey and everything that's wonderful about hot chocolate.
When I was making raw hot cross buns at Easter, they seriously reminded me of mum's date scones. So I'm currently adapting a them into a recipe for raw date scones, and the experiment is definitely headed in the right direction.
I artistically arranged raw date coconut macaroons on a plate to make a raw coconut macaroon birthday "cake", and I think it came up pretty well. It was definitely enough for a candle, and for us to sing happy birthday.
You're either going to curse me or bless me for sharing this recipe for raw caramel fudge with you. But how could I deny you the magic of this raw caramel fudge with just two ingredients? Dates. Macadamias. That's it. Nothing more. Too easy.
This raw carob banana smoothie is dangerously delicious. But, hey, if you’re eating such amazing food, does it really matter? My 4yo also loves to drink it, so it must be awesome, and being so fast to whip up too, it makes a great dinner or afternoon snack.
This raw applesauce pudding is basically pureed apples, with some shredded coconut, cinnamon, hemp seeds, activated sunflower seeds and a couple of chopped dates. Easy, sweet and gentle on the belly.

The walnuts and macadamias in this raw cake are a winning combination (even with the kids), and being another ‘just chuck it all in the processor’ recipe, you can have your cake (and eat it too) in less than 15 minutes if you want.
What do you make for Easter when you're eating raw vegan, and you want to go easy on the chocolate? How about these amazing raw hot cross buns? They taste just like traditional hot cross buns, and they look amazing too!
If you're looking for a dairy free, nut-free yoghurt alternative, give my avocado banana yoghurt recipe a try. And although it does look a bit like avocado snot, I promise that it tastes like a tangy, sweet banana and vanilla yoghurt.
One of my favourite snacks when I was growing up was a plate of dates, apples and cheese. This raw, vegan, organic alternative combines Botanical Cuisine's walnut cheese with sticky medjool dates and slices of crisp sweet apple. Be warned, these are addictive.
If ever you needed an excuse to start making your own almond milk, this raw almond pulp chocolate fudge brownie recipe would have to be it. Be warned though - you may find this raw chocolate fudge so addictive, that you find yourself obsessing about it, like I have been.
