Here’s a list of some great producers of quality, organic raw food products in and around Melbourne. Add them to a meal, or eat them straight out of the jar!
Gourmet raw food
The guys at Botanical Cuisine make the most AMAZING gourmet raw, vegan foods, like walnut cashew cheese and frozen cashew yoghurt and mushroom and pepperberry sauce.
They also run raw food classes and have a pop-up raw food restaurant called “Nettle”.
Really. Good. Stuff.
Healthy, sustainable, fair and delicious!Loving Earth supply an awesome range of raw food ingredients, including really raw cashews, agave nectar, coconut nectar, raw cacao powder and beans and superfood powders.
They also make a great range of raw chocolate, kale chips, activated nuts and other snack foods.
These guys also work really hard to support and develop small community-based producers in Australia and overseas.
One word. Yum!
Raw, vegan, dairy-free, organic, handmade chocolate. “Love your insides, love the earth” they say.
Well I’m sorry, I only love you for your chocolate. It’s smooth, creamy and divine.
My favourite flavour is orange, closely followed by raw cacao, and their blue-green algae flavour is strangely wonderful.
And now they have a shop, in Church St, Richmond!
Juices, milks and smoothies
Camille Gautam, the founder of Keeping It Real Foods, has created a range of fresh, raw almond milks.
Just like the homemade raw almond milk you’d make for yourself if you had the time, but with all of the the convenience of a ready-made, off-the-shelf product.
And apparently this is just the beginning, so keep watching for more nourishing raw food products from Keeping It Real Foods.
Although Pressed Juices was born in Melbourne, it has rapidly expanded to over 15 retail stories across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide.
They offer a range of ready-made cold-pressed, nutrient-packed juices, smoothies and mylks, and will even deliver to your door.
The ultimate in taste, convenience and good health.
