I made Ani Phyo’s raw tomato chili with walnut taco meat the other night, and I must say it was rather delicious.
I seriously toned down the chili powder, and it was very tasty.
And I reckon it would make a great base for a raw soup as well – just blend the whole lot and eat it that way.
I topped mine off with my walnut & sun-dried tomato taco meat, avocado, cashew sour cream and spring onions.
I found the raw garlic a bit strong (mmm, garlic burps), so I think I might use less next time, but otherwise a big success!
A great winter meal, especially if you blend half of the mix until it warms up, and serve it in chunky ceramic bowls pre-warmed in the oven.
Mmmmmmmm, toasty warm :)
