I’m currently attempting to make my raw flax crackers with dates instead of agave.
The mix turned out kind of frothy and thicker than before, which was a little unexpected, but the mix still spread and scored well.
I think they might just turn out OK. Fingers crossed that they taste good too!
Sometimes I wonder why I “fix” things when they’re not broken. After all, my raw flax cracker recipe is delicious and fine just as it is. So why change it?
And I think the answer is at the heart of what I do and love about raw food.
I get to explore and experiment and discover. Even though I hate it when I make a dud, I still jump back in there and keep mixing it up, trying new things and learning.
I’m always changing, always growing, never sitting back and deciding that I’ve finally got it all figured out.
And the thrill of creating something new and amazing is worth it every time.
